Let's kick off the 12 days with a carry over set from the Annual Catalog. Using the Star of Light stamp set and the coordinating dies, this is a quick and easy card to make. On a piece of 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp "Merry Christmas" at the bottom in Night of Navy. Then take a pencil and mark where the center of the larger die cut star will be. Using a sponge and Pool Party ink, begin at that pencil mark and drag the sponge outward to the edge of the paper. Continue to do this around the entire card. Add more if you want. Then come back with Marina Mist ink and add some depth to the rays.
TIP: Cut the Marina Mist star out of the matting that sits between the card and the front Whisper White piece. Nobody will know that you got a bit more mileage out of that piece of card stock! A gold glimmer smaller star and a clear Faceted Gem finishes the card.
On the inside of the card, I used Pool Party ink to stamp the star sprays and Night of Navy for the sentiment. Some Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding and Gold 1/8" Ribbon.
