I am back!!!

I can't believe it has been almost three months since I last blogged!  What a busy summer it has been.  Lucky for you, I have kept up on my classes and workshops so I have lots of cards to share with you.  I hope to get back to doing some videotaping as soon as I lose this lousy cold - unless you like a Greta Garbo voice!

Here's a twist on the standard shaker card - instead of sequins or glitter, use stamped images!  Here, I stamped the little butterflies from Papillon Potpourri stamp set and punched them out.  The one butterfly on the right side is affixed to the back but the other three butterflies are left to fly around inside.  Stampin' Up!'s adhesive strips are tall enough that the butterflies move freely even with rhinestones attached.

On the inside of the card, I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set to create the sentiment for this card.  The great part is that you can put all of the words onto one acrylic block and stamp once.  Easy peasy!
