Butterfly Basics Stamp Set...

This is a card that we made recently at a workshop and thought it was a perfect card to give to my friend Kate who was battling Stage IV breast cancer.  Unfortunately, Kate lost her battle last Thursday and the world lost a vivacious and incredibly wonderful woman.  She will be missed.

I would not have attempted this card in a workshop setting a year ago because no one would have wanted to do this much fussy cutting but now with my Brother Scan N Cut, it is a breeze!  We just stamped the image, scanned them and it cut them out perfectly.

Here is the inside of the card.  All of the coloring was done with the Blendabilities.  I was so disappointed to hear Stampin' Up!'s announcement that they have suspended sales of these markers but I am glad that they are addressing any issues that they have been experiencing.  Hopefully they will be addressed quickly and we will be able to get more of these wonderful markers!
