Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set - Lotus Blossoms

 This was the first stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration catalog to catch my eye.  I have had a lot of fun working with different color combinations for the flowers.  In this case, we used Night of Navy and Wisteria Wonder.  I also used the Sahara Sand Lace from the Occasions catalog and I think it is really pretty!  Although it looks lighter in the catalog, it is definitely Sahara Sand color - it matches perfectly!

The big trick to the three-step stamping to make this flower is to make sure that the "tab" on each of the stamps is basically in the same position on each block.  Then it makes it easier to line the flower up.  The stamps are numbered 1, 2 and 3 on the storage sheet but some people have found more success by stamping 3, 2 and then 1.  Try both and see what works for you!
